The LSU Tigers won a shoot-out with the Mississippi Rebels to keep their faint SEC West title hopes alive. Here are the video highlights.
Bo Wallace would pace Ole Miss with two big first quarter touchdowns. Wallace would rush up the middle for a 58 yard score and then find Donte Moncrief for 56 yards. LSU would manage a Jeremy Hill touchdown in-between those two scores to only be behind 14-7 after one quarter.
LSU would take the lead behind a Drew Alleman field goal and a Spencer Ware touchdown rush, but Wallace would respond with a rushing score of his own to give Ole Miss a 21-17 halftime lead. LSU would manage another field goal to cut the lead to 21-20, but Ole Miss scored again behind a Randall Mackey six yard scamper to give the Rebels an eight point lead.
But LSU struck several times in the fourth quarter to come back. Hill punched in his second rushing score and LSU added a two-point conversion to tie the game at 28-28. Wallace would find Moncrief almost immediately to put Ole Miss back up ahead, but the Rebels would botch off their coverage and allow Odell Beckham to return an 89 yard scamper to tie the game back up. Finally, Hill would punch it in with seconds left to give LSU the win.
