Tajh Boyd was responsible for eight of Clemson's touchdowns in the 62-48 victory for the Tigers over the N.C. State Wolfpack.
The Clemson Tigers fell into a hole against the North Carolina State Wolfpack before reallying to win, 62-48. Here are the video highlights of Clemson's victory.
Clemson scored the first 13 points behind two Chandler Catanzaro field goals and a Tajh Boyd rushing touchdown, but North Carolina State responded with big scores on each of their drives down the field. Mike Glennon would connect with Tobais Palmer from 77 and 49 yards as well as Rashard Smith for 18 yards. A Wolfpack field goal at the beginning of the second quarter would up the N.C. State lead to 24-13.
From then on, it was all Clemson. The Tigers rolled off six straight touchdowns to turn an 11 point deficit into a 31 point lead. Tajh Boyd would connect with Brandon Ford, Sammy Watkins, DeAndre Hopkins and Martavis Bryant, and then run in two more scores from nine yards out and put the Tigers up 55-24. N.C. State rallied for two touchdowns, but Boyd would finish this one off with a 69 yard connection to Brandon Ford. Boyd would be responsible for eight touchdowns on the day and over 500 total yards of offense.
