Devin Gardner of the Michigan Wolverines was responsible for all six touchdowns in the team's 42-17 scorching of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Michigan Wolverines put together one impressive performance in pounding the Iowa Hawkeyes 42-17. Here are the video highlights of Michigan's victory.
Devin Gardner put Michigan out in front with a one yard touchdown rush to put the Wolverines up 7-0. Iowa responded with a James Vandenberg 16 yard touchdown pass to Henry Krieger-Coble to tie things up, but then Michigan put the burners on. Garnder found Roy Roundtree for 37 yards, and then Garnder would run for his second one-yard TD to put Michigan up 21-10.
A Gardner 18 yard connnection to Vincent Smith made it 28-10. Gardner would then add a three yard rush and a 29 yard connection to Devin Funchess to put Michigan up by 32 in the third quarter.
Gardner was responsible for six touchdowns on the day, rushing for three scores on 37 yards rushing and throwing for 314 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. The second big piece of news was the return of Denard Robinson, who had his moments. Robinson lined up at running back, rushing for 98 yards on 13 carries.
