Kansas State is in the position every college football team wants to be in: They are one of the two teams that would be in the BCS National Championship Game if the season ended today based on the current BCS Standings. The Wildcats sit at No. 2 in the latest rankings, just behind defending National Champion Alabama.
The Wildcats have been dominant behind Collin Klein, winning all but two games by double digits. Facing No. 24 Oklahoma State the Wildcats could find themselves in quite the offensive shootout. KSU averages 44.4 points per game, which is fifth best in the nation. Oklahoma State averages 44.3 points to rate sixth.
Oklahoma State can still win a second consecutive Big 12 championship with a victory over Kansas State. The Cowboys are a game behind Kansas State in the standings and a win would give them the tiebreaker with a game to go against fellow 3-1 team Oklahoma.
