Ohio State's coach became so overwhelmed with Senior Day emotion and rival hatred that he forgot to call Michigan "That School Up North," but these things happen.
This is Urban Meyer's first taste of the rivalry since 1986 and 1987, when he was a Buckeyes position coach and the two teams split wins. The lasting highlight from his Friday remarks:
Meyer said he made a promise to the #OhioState seniors that "if they gave everything they had we would make it a special year for them."

Meyer said a win over #Michigan could "make this one of the most memorable seasons in the history of Ohio State University football."

"There's a reason why you do what you do," Meyer said, lip quivering. "Let's beat the sh** out of Michigan."

Meyer had to pause for a full minute while talking about the seniors and the special day they deserve tomorrow. Couldn't get the words out.

Meyer fought tears so hard he banged his glasses on the side of the lectern trying to compose himself. Earle came over and gave comfort.

Tomorrow is going to be one EMOTIONAL day in the Horseshoe and the #OhioState head coach will be at the forefront of it all.
