Florida vs. Florida State 2012 previews: TV schedule, odds and more

Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

Florida and Florida State will meet in their annual rivalry game with both teams carrying just one loss on the year.

The Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles may bring back memories of the the Bobby Bowden and Steve Spurrier days when they face off as top 10 teams on Saturday. The Gators are No. 4 in the BCS standings, while FSU checks in at No. 10 heading into the final game of the regular season for both teams.

Florida won't go to the SEC title game, but they still have an outside shot at making the BCS championship, and FSU would love to end all hopes for that. The Seminoles are on a two-game winning streak in the series, having outscored Florida 52-14 combined in 2010 and 2011.

The Gators have used a tough defense to navigate a difficult 2012 schedule. This will be the third top 10 team Florida faces, after previously taking down LSU and South Carolina.

FSU has had a much easier road to 10-1, and that is why they are behind several two-loss teams in the BCS. Florida State's best win came over Clemson, and that got them a spot in the ACC title game.

Game time, TV schedule: 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC

Spread: Florida State favored by 8.
