Georgia Tech vs. Georgia score: This Bacarri Rambo play put Jackets in a hole

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Georgia Tech offense is not built to play from behind, is the common thinking. Let's find out!

The Georgia Bulldogs have opened up a 14-0 lead over Georgia Tech, powered by excellent field position thanks to a 47-yard Malcolm Mitchell kick return and a Bacarri Rambo fumble runback to the 50. That Rambo run might end up being remembered as the play of the game, as he pried the ball away from Robert Godhigh right on the Jackets goal line -- Todd Gurley (45 yards so far) finished that UGA drive off, and a potential 7-7 game is now already running away from Tech.

Here's Rambo prying the ball loose as teammates otherwise engaged Godhigh:

The only concern at this point for Georgia fans: the Jackets were moving the ball very well. After getting a flexbone practice game against Georgia Southern last week, the Dawgs haven't quite solved the riddle just yet -- Tech has 83 rushing yards after just one drive.
