Michael Mauti, one of Penn State's best players and a team leader who emerged as the roster's voice after the NCAA struck, saw his Nittany Lions career ended by a knee injury last week.
Very neat move by Bill O'Brien. It's a departure, but his players will play harder because of it, and that's the entire point.
