The Ducks had a 10-point lead over the Beavers at the break.
All eyes were on Oregon after the Ducks' loss to Stanford last week. The team from Eugene had weathered all sorts of injuries and kept finding ways to eek out victories while racking up bunches of yards in the process, but the luck finally ran out against the Cardinal.
The hellacious stretch didn't end there. Oregon had to travel to Corvallis to play Oregon State and hopefully stay in a position to get an at-large BCS bid. After one half of play, things looked good.
The Ducks got a quick-strike rushing touchdown from Marcus Mariota just a minute into the game, but Oregon State answered right back with a Storm Woods score. Running back Kenjon Barner seemed prime for another huge day, running for 164 yards and a score on 20 carries in the first half before going to the locker room with an abdominal injury.
He returned to the sidelines with his helmet on to start the third quarter, though, and may still play.

As the Ducks prepare to receive the kick following an OSU touchdown, Barner is huddling with the other starters on offense. Looks ready.

If this one stays close, the Ducks will really need their talented playmaker.
