The South Carolina Gamecocks rode the excellent passing of Dylan Thompson to beat the Clemson Tigers 27-17.
The South Carolina Gamecocks took it to their rivals the Clemson Tigers in a 27-17 victory. Here are the video highlights of the win.
Clemson got striking first to take a 14-7 lead after the first quarter. Tajh Boyd rushed from three yards out to put Clemson out 7-0. After Dylan Thompson connected with Bruce Ellington from 13 yards out to make it 7-7, Boyd hit up DeAndre Hopkins with a 43 yard gain to make it 14-7 Clemson.
Adam Yates connected on a 27 yard field goal to make it 14-10 Clemson, and then South Carolina took the lead for good with another Thompson touchdown throw, this one to Ace Sanders from 34 yards out to make it 17-14 South Carolina. After both teams exchanged field goals, Thompson hit up Ellington for his third touchdown throw and Ellington's second TD catch to give South Carolina a two score lead they wouldn't relinquish.
