The former Florida State defensive coordinator is reportedly trying to bring one of his colleagues with him to Lexington.
Now that he's taken the job as head coach at Kentucky, former Florida State defensive coordinator Mark Stoops is reportedly wasting no time trying to put together his coaching staff:
Mark Stoops has offered current FSU OC James Coley the OC job at Kentucky, would expect a decision in next 48 hours

Coley has been the offensive coordinator at Florida State since 2010, but Jimbo Fisher recently announced that he would be hiring a new coach for that position.
The Seminoles offense was rated eighth in the country this year, scoring 41.5 points per game. However, in two losses to Florida and NC State, they were held well below their season average.
Stoops may have targeted Coley for his recruiting prowess as much as anything else, since the state of Kentucky typically doesn't produce enough players to allow the Wildcats to be competitive in the SEC solely with in-state talent.
In 2010, ESPN called Coley the best recruiter in the ACC.
