Oregon has found a way to create uniforms that fittingly match the play on the field. Up-tempo, flashy, out of a Harlan Ellison novel. And while Nike may someday find a uniform too crazy for the public (yeahhhhhh invisibility cloak unis), we're just here for the ride right now.
Oregon has become a must-watch multimedia presentation, like those 4D rides at Universal Studios with less water being splashed all over you. So when the Ducks unveil a new uni combo, it's worth a look.
Today's offerings are no different.
There's a very nice Star Wars stormtrooper quality to these, if not an almost angelic vision of high-scoring beauty. The only thing I'm a little bit sad about is that Nike hasn't capitalized and found things for Chip Kelly to wear on the sidelines that match the madness.
