Klein got Kansas State rolling on their second drive, finding Tyler Lockett for a 50 yard connection and setting up a John Hubert one yard rush to tie things up at 7-7. Another nice drive set up by Klein rushing and a few connections with his receivers gave Kansas State the lead, and then an Oklahoma State fumble set up a short field and another ruhsing touchdown for Hubert and a 17-7 Kansas State lead.
After Oklahoma State managed a field goal on the subsequent drive, both teams would exchange kickoff returns for touchdowns, as Tyler Lockett went 100 yards for the Wildcats and Desmond Roland went 81 yards for the Cowboys. But Oklahoma State would commit another costly turnover, as Wes Lunt threw a pick-six to make it 31-17 Kansas State before halftime.
Klein added a rushing touchdown early in the third quarter, and Oklahoma State never got within two touchdowns after that. Klein left the game with an undisclosed injury, and no one has confirmed how serious it is.
