A flurry of late-half offense has Florida State up, 13-10, on Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, but the old 6-3 score was a much more accurate depiction of what we're witnessing here. E.J. Manuel and Logan Thomas have combined to complete half of their 34 passes, with an interception apiece, and that's counting a nice drive by Manuel with some great over-the-shoulder tosses.
This is an ugly game, likely not as ugly as that Jaguars thing also going on, but everyone involved would really rather be watching ULM-Arkansas State.
My favorite stat: Florida State has -8 yards rushing. There really aren't any other stats. Somehow this game produced no numbers, which is a strange thing to have happen at an engineering school's campus. It's a game that can only be described via images.
