Nevada's quarterback has taken blows to the head and his throwing hand so far against Arizona.

Nevada Wolf Pack quarterback Cody Fajardo took what appeared to be a pair of simultaneous helmet shots in the third quarter against Arizona, leaving the game for one play after spending some time on the turf. He returned to score an immediate rushing touchdown, making it 45-28, Nevada.

It looked very scary, but we'll hope Nevada took the appropriate precautions before sending him back out.

He also hurt his hand on his previous touchdown, bashing his throwing arm into an onrushing Arizona defender's helmet while throwing a 33-yard score. He ran to the sideline while alternately shaking out the pain and pointing to the sky in celebration.

Fajardo has 376 total yards and four total touchdowns, as the Wolf Pack offense is completely flaying Arizona's defense. They've already set the all-time bowl record for first downs, with 36, with a whole quarter still to go.
