BYU's old man strength has flexed its aged muscles.
BYU boasts one of the country's best defenses, and the question coming in was whether San Diego State was going to be able to do much of anything on offense. We pretty much already know the Cougars won't be able to do much of anything on offense, because what is offense? Now that I've said this, this game will end with a 38-35 score.
Here's an example, though. Watch as Craig Bills delivers a shoulder-to-chest shot that had Colin Lockett on the turf and in very clear pain. It was far from an ideal pass by Adam Dingwell, who didn't have a whole lot of options and decided to force one into the end zone. Both Aztecs will likely be a little bit more cautious next time, making this hit a win for the moment and for the immediate future.
San Diego State leads, 3-0.
