There are at least two NFC teams who are expected to give Oregon head coach Chip Kelly a call this offseason.
Oregon head coach Chip Kelly is expected to have "multiple suitors" in the NFL following the Fiesta Bowl with the Eagles and Panthers being two names already rumored to be in hot pursuit, according to NFL Network's Albert Breer.
Andy Reid's severance from Philadelphia has been expected for months now, and it wouldn't be surprising if Carolina canned Ron Rivera, either, even with the Panthers winning three of their last four. As for Kelly, he's been difficult to pry from Oregon in the past but he could pull a Pete Carroll and head for greener pastures this offseason with NCAA sanctions expected to be handed out to the Ducks.
Kelly tested the NFL waters last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, almost completing a deal to become their next head coach before having a last-second change of heart. This go-round though, it's looking like Kelly's hand could be forced if he isn't the valiant go-down-with-the-ship type.
