At halftime in the New Orleans Bowl, Louisiana's Terrance Broadway looks like the favorite to win this thing, with 198 yards through the air and 45 on the ground. ECU's down, 31-21.

The Advertiser has the story of its creation:

Seither started with a new modern football helmet and painted it much like he would a canvas in colors of green, gold and purple, reminiscent of Mardi Gras. There is also the image of the Superdome and a Bourbon Street lamp post on the top of the helmet and the 'MVP' letters on the visor in a burst of colors.

"I tried to treat it just like a painting or a canvas and I didn't let anything inhibit me," said Seither. "As you look at the detail, that's the detail I would have gotten on a painting. People are going nuts over it. I think people relate to a football helmet. It gets people going."
