Four games are set for Friday and Saturday.

The FCS playoffs are down to eight teams. The action continues this weekend with four quarterfinal games. It all starts Friday when Montana State hosts Sam Houston State at 8 p.m.

The other three quarterfinal games will be held Saturday. At noon, Georgia Southern will play at Old Dominion. At 3 p.m., top-seeded North Dakota State will host Wofford. The day wraps up at 6 p.m. when Eastern Washington hosts Illinois State.

Montana State-Houston State is a rematch of last year's quarterfinal game. Houston State came away with a big 49-13 win in that game. This time around, though, Montana State is at home, a place in which it's lost just once this season. Houston State, on the other hand, is 4-3 on the road this year. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

Old Dominion is the favorite for the noon game. The Monarchs enter the game with an 11-1 record. Georgia Southern is 9-3 this year, with a 3-2 record on the road. This game is also a rematch of a game in last year's FCS playoffs. Georgia Southern was at home and pulled off a 55-48 win. The game will be televised on ESPN.

Top-seed North Dakota State (11-1) will welcome Wofford (9-3) on Saturday. The game could be decided on the ground, as Wofford has the No. 2-ranked rushing offense in the country. North Dakota State has the best rush defense in the country. The game will be available on ESPN3.com.

The night will wrap up with Illinois State travelling to play Eastern Washington. The Eagles might be the higher seed, but the Redbirds have momentum on their side. They won last week, 38-37, over Appalachian State thanks to a blocked extra point in overtime. The Redbirds are 6-0 on the road this season. The game will be available on ESPN3.com.
