Nebraska and Wisconsin will kick off at 8 p.m. ET Saturday in Lincoln, two days after Nebraska announced athletic director and former head coach Tom Osborne will retire Jan. 1.
Osborne, 75, will continue serving in an operations capacity through July 30, and will be named athletic director emeritus.
The Cornhuskers, ranked No. 22 in the latest AP poll, kick off Big 10 play against the Badgers in an inter-divisional showdown between two of the more successful teams in the conference. SB Nation picked the visiting Badgers to win this game, which would be their second straight over Nebraska. Wisconsin thumped the Cornhuskers 48-17 in Madison last year.
Both teams are 3-1 entering the game. Nebraska is coming off a 73-7 win over Idaho State, while Wisconsin is fresh off a closer-than-expected 37-26 victory over UTEP.
Game time, TV channel: 8 p.m. ET, ABC
Point spread: Nebraska favored by 11.5 points
