The Virginia Tech Hokies, fresh off a 37-0 thrashing of Bowling Green, are slated to take on Cincinnati at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday. The game is being played at FedEx Field, home of the NFL's Washington Redskins.

The Hokies are favored by 6½ points over the Bearcats (2-0), a team that hasn't played since Sept. 15 and has only allowed an average of eight points in its two games.

Virginia Tech is only surrendering 14.8 points a game, making this an intriguing defensive match-up. Cincinnati's defensive line has been dominant so far this season, but the Hokies' 246-yard rushing performance against Bowling Green shows Virginia Tech is a powerful running team.

Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, ESPNU

Point spread: Virginia Tech favored by 6½ points
