Wake Forest wide receiver Michael Campanaro has gone to the locker room after an apparent hand injury suffered in the second quarter of the Demon Deacons game against Duke.

And it's reportedly bad news, but we'll wait and see.

Before being injured, Campanaro had caught one ball for three yards, and also rushed once, for nine yards. Wake Forest trails in the game, 13-10 in the second quarter.

The junior, averaging nine catches game this season, had a breakout year in 2011, earning a third team All-ACC selection. He finished fourth in the ACC in receptions per game (6.1) and seventh in the league in receiving yards per game (69.4). For the year, Campanaro caught 73 passes for 833 yards and two touchdowns.

Wake Forest entered Saturday's game against the Blue Devils 3-1, 1-1 in conference play.
