Braxton Miller hyper-extended his knee against Michigan State, but will return to the game.
Ohio State starting quarterback Braxton Miller went down hurt in the fourth quarter against the Michigan State Spartans with an apparent leg injury, but he won't be missing any snaps.
On third down, just inside Michigan State territory, Miller scrambled to his left and ran for a first down, but took a hit in the process and went down clutching his left leg. He appeared to twist his left knee awkwardly as he went down.
On the play, Miller put the ball on the turf, but was originally called down by contact. After an official review, it was determined that Miller fumbled the ball, and that Michigan State recovered. That led to a field goal for Sparty, and Ohio State now leads 17-16.
The good news for the Buckeyes is that Miller is standing on the sidelines and ready to re-enter the game. Ohio State is calling the injury a hyper-extended left knee and left hip, but Ohio State's training staff performed an ACL test and determined he's fine to re-enter the game.
