Connor Shaw lofted one deep to Damiere Byrd for 56 yards to kick off festivities in Tampa, and both Big Ten and SEC fans alike immediately forgot about Northwestern taking care of Mississippi State in Jacksonville.

This is a good sign for fans of bloomin' onions. Most things are, because fans of bloomin' onions enjoy mercifully short, bliss-compacted lives.
