New York Jets and former Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow was spotted at New Orleans Saints facilities Wednesday night, alongside a shorter, emotional man (likely a spiritual advisor). It wasn't explained what the longtime backup was doing at the Superdome, though it's worrisome to note he was seen sporting Broncos colors.

Putting two and two together, it's clear Tebow is angling for a gig with the Saints, who'll need a player-coach after Sean Payton follows former Miami Dolphins coach Nick Saban as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

They'll also need an experienced backup to Drew Brees, since Chase Daniel is too short to be an NFL quarterback.

However, such a move would court a firestorm of a quarterback controversy, as Tebow has won a playoff game more recently than Brees has. One day more recently, but pro football is a game of inches.

Tebow's shirt read, "Florida," apparently an homage to his hometown. Any speculation connecting him to the Jacksonville Jaguars is sheer lunacy.
