Arizona running back Ka'Deem Carey will be charged in an incident where he allegedly pushed his pregnant ex-girlfriend to the floor and slammed her fingers in a door. The junior was an all-American this season and led the NCAA in rushing yards.

Arizona's consensus all-American running back Ka'Deem Carey will reportedly be charged for his alleged role in a fight with his pregnant ex-girlfriend, according to the Arizona Daily Star.

Carey, a junior, was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with the woman, who is pregnant with Carey's child. Both parties allegedly had injuries. The woman alleged that Carey pushed and shoved her in addition to knocking her to the floor and slamming her fingers in a door. She filed an order of protection against Carey, which was served to him on Dec. 31. The decision was made to charge Carey, although it isn't clear with what he'll be charged. The order of protection also contains a statement that Carey was searching for a lighter with which to smoke an illegal substance.

Carey was universally considered one of the best running backs in college football this season, leading the nation in rushing yards with 1,929 on 6.4 yards per carry. He was one of three consensus all-Americans at running back, alongside Montee Ball and Kenjon Barner.
