Alabama-Oregon national championship considered more likely by the week

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

This week's Clemson-Florida State game should have some serious implications, as well.

Week 7 in college football saw plenty of upsets, and the fallout is clear, as multiple former national title and Heisman contenders are no longer considered in the running, via Bovada.

Alabama and Oregon are still the favorites for the title, giving the matchup you've all dreamt of for years now. After a close win over Kansas State and Bill Snyder's voodoo magic, Baylor's stock falls, while LSU rises significantly after a big win over Florida.

Clemson and Florida are tied with Baylor for fourth at 12/1 odds, and their matchup this weekend will have serious title implications.

In the Heisman race, Marcus Mariota continues to impress, leading reigning winner Johnny Manziel and freshman wunderkind Jameis Winston in the Vegas odds. Aaron Murray, Blake Bell and Kevin Hogan all drop out after leading their teams to upset losses, and Heisman contenders who have since been injured (Braxton Miller, De'Anthony Thomas and Todd Gurley) are also out.
