Saturday night's Big 12 matchup between Texas and TCU has been delayed midway through the second quarter due to repeated lightning strikes in the Fort Worth area.
The first delay is one of at least 30 minutes, and the game can not be restarted if lightning has taken place in the area within the last 15 minutes. For example, if 22 minutes into the delay lightning strikes, it would be 15 minutes until the game could start again, but the delay can not be less than 30 minutes.
The weather is quite scary in the area, and fans have been advised to seek shelter:

At the time of the delay, Texas was leading 17-7 with a little more than six minutes to play in the second quarter.
