West Virginia Athletic Director Oliver Luck will reportedly meet with Texas this week, and is likely considered to be the Longhorns' top candidate in their athletic director search, with DeLoss Dodds' retirement approaching.

Chip Brown at OrangeBloods.com is reporting that Luck is likely to be the next Athletic Director at the school, citing sources. The announcement could come the week after Texas and West Virginia play on November 9.
Luck has long been considered the leading candidate for the job, but has taking a stance of kind of denying/not commenting on the position.
He is the Big 12's representative on the college football playoff selection committee, but as the move would take place within the conference that status would not likely be affected.
An alumnus of West Virginia, Luck was a quarterback at the school and played for the Houston Oilers for five years. His son, Andrew Luck, is currently the quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts.
