Michigan State-Iowa started out really B1G

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

There have now been points in Iowa-Michigan State. This is a shock.

Some people expected Iowa-Michigan State, a game between two teams so awful at offense that F/+ actually projected the final score to be 4.2-3.1 -- a hideous affront to the idea of football.

But boy, were they wrong. It was an outright shootout from the start. You're not going to want to miss this ridiculous 27-yard field goal by Michael Geiger that gave Michigan State the 3-0 lead after the game got off to a hot start with a punt, a punt, a punt, a turnover on downs, an interception, a missed field goal and another punt.

BOOM!

It's gonna be tough for another play to knock this one out of the top slot on the SportsCenter Top 10.

The game is actually now 10-7. This turned out just to be the play that opened the floodgates.
