Trailing 17-3 in the third quarter, Tennessee's offense had struggled all day against a stout Georgia D. While the Volunteers had some success on the ground, quarterback Justin Worley had trouble consistently finding receivers, completing just eight of 18 pass attempts for under 100 yards.
That changed quickly, as Worley found Marquez North in the corner of the end zone for an incredible touchdown grab that brought the Vols within a score.
It was North's first touchdown reception of his Tennessee career. The true freshman entered the game with a team-high 14 catches for 132 yards. He was a highly touted prospect coming into Tennessee, rated as a four-star prospect with offers from nearly every major program in the country.
