The Florida Gators lost a must-win game to the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday, failing to crack 21 points for the fifth straight week in the 19-14 defeat, which moved them to 4-6 on the season. Florida will have an easier matchup against Georgia Southern next week, but will have to defeat a perfect Florida State team the week after that in order to make a bowl game.
That pressure appears to be getting to head coach Will Muschamp, who apparently punched a chalkboard after the loss, injuring his hand.

Muschamp also called out the Florida fans after the game, who have been increasingly critical of his tenure as head coach, which seems to be plummeting towards a bowl-less season.
UF coach Will Muschamp: "You can write whatever the hell you want, and some of our fans gotta get a grip. Our guys fought their butts off."— Jason Lieser (@PBPjasonlieser) November 17, 2013
Telling your fans to "get a grip" after five straight conference losses may not seem to be the best move for one's job security, so we'll see if Muschamp's comments (or results) have any ripples.
Muschamp has received public support from the administration, including athletic director Jeremy Foley, who said earlier in the week that he believed "a thousand percent" in the head coach.
