NCAA Football 14 cover vote: Eddie Lacy, Denard Robinson among 8 candidates

Sandra Dukes-US PRESSWIRE

Fans will vote to determine the cover athlete for the NCAA Football 14 video game, and Friday the full listing of players -- including Denard Robinson -- was released.

EA Sports has announced the eight college players fans will choose from to determine who graces the cover of NCAA Football 14, and the group includes Denard Robinson and Eddie Lacy.

The game will have a vote on its Facebook page, starting Feb. 4. EA Sports had been releasing a different player every day but, early Friday morning, Michigan football tweeted this picture:

From left to right, that's Michigan's Denard Robinson, Alabama's Eddie Lacy, Ohio State's John Simon, Georgia's Jarvis Jones, Florida State's EJ Manuel, Oregon's Kenjon Barner, Texas A&M's Ryan Swope, and Notre Dame's Tyler Eifert.

There's also an ongoing vote for "which school" will be on the cover, which would appear to indicate that some other facet of a school's football program a mascot or gameday tradition will appear on the cover alongside the winner of the player vote.

Last year's game featured a fan vote to decide which former Heisman winner would appear on the cover besides Robert Griffin III, with fans deciding on Barry Sanders in his Oklahoma State days.
