Watch De'Anthony Thomas coach his youth basketball team

Kevin Casey

Oregon Ducks running back De'Anthony Thomas is a youth basketball coach!

Oregon Ducks running back De'Anthony Thomas is a big basketball fan. You can tell by his various tweets from his fantastic Twitter account at @1STCLASSMOMBA that he really is a big fan of hoops and all that. So check him out in action coaching young kids at basketball.

De'Anthony has proven to be a pretty special player for Oregon, and it's good to see him develop those talents off the field as well. Thomas rose through the ranks of youth sports to become one of the greatest high school football prospects Los Angeles has ever produced, leading Snoop Dogg to give De'Anthony the feared Black Mamba title.

Thomas definitely has a lot of interest in the roundball. Like he roots for a team in Los Angeles I've never heard of. They sound like a pretty good team though.

Look through SB Nation's many excellent college football blogs to find your team's community.
