One of the Sooners' reserves is in legal trouble.

Reserve Oklahoma offensive lineman Jacob Reed is facing burglary and assault charges stemming from an alleged incident early Sunday morning, and he has been suspended indefinitely from the Sooners football team. There is a warrant out for his arrest.

Reed allegedly broke into an ex-girlfriend's apartment and ended up assaulting both her and the man she was with. According to the affidavit filed in the case, the woman informed police that she and Reed had recently broken off a relationship that dated back to high school.

His ex-girlfriend told police that she was "struck in the nose and chest" by Reed when she tried to stop him from assaulting the man, per the affidavit. She also said this wasn't the first incident of domestic violence between herself and Reed but did not offer additional details.

Reed, a 23-year-old senior, played in just one game for Oklahoma in 2012. He was expected to continue serving in a reserve role this season.
