A private State College business hopes to install a statue of Joe Paterno on its property in Nov. 2015, apparently near these contemplative livestock:
This does not equate to Penn State University restoring its statue of Paterno, which the school removed in July 2012 amid the Jerry Sandusky scandal. PSU has no known plans of doing so.
The proposed statue, which would cost $300,000 and will be funded by a Kickstarter campaign (meaning it might not even happen), would depict the former football coach eating ice cream on a bench and reading "The Aeniad."
However, Penn State fans and their internet associates have other recommendations. Here is one:
