College football kicks off in less than a month, with a rematch between Virginia Tech and Ohio State on tap for the first weekend of FBS play. The Hokies were the only team to defeat the Buckeyes during their national title-winning 2014 campaign, and with perhaps the All-World DE Joey Bosa and three other important players all missing the game for Ohio State, there's reason to think Virginia Tech could at least keep it close again.
The Hokies are certainly feeling confident. Here's the school's official football Twitter account, calling out Ohio State with a picture of head coach Frank Beamer holding the lunch pail Virginia Tech brought to ACC Media Days (the lunch pail is a long-standing tradition with the Hokie defense).

Of course, Ohio State had something to say in response.

The Hokies weren't done.

Virginia Tech even linked to a fan's tweet, with just a slight twist on the Buckeyes' lunch box design.
