When you ask Daniel George what his game’s like, the answer is that of a talented and skilled big-bodied wide receiver.
“I say I’m a big physical receiver, use my feet to get open,” George told SB Nation. “I have breakaway speed i can get in and out of my cuts well. I’m working on being quicker with my game. Quick twitch footwork.”
The 6’2 wideout Oxon Hill, Md. native likes to run posts and dig routes, and he patterns his game off the Atlanta Falcons’ Julio Jones, who is also a big-bodied target who is really tough to defend. They even both wear No. 11 on their jerseys.
As for where he’ll play in college, George’s got a few teams on the list.
“Wouldn’t say I have any favorites but Penn State, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt,” George said.
Although they are yet to offer, he’s waiting to hear more from Tennessee and Florida State.
There’s room in his heart for his hometown school, Maryland, as well.
“This is the home school, and just me knowing everybody there and me knowing a lot of connections,” George said. “I can have a good conversation with them and know it’ll be down there.”
