Australia play Sri Lanka in the third match of the Commonwealth Bank series at the WACA in Perth. The match will be played on February 10.
The hosts go into the game with a facile win over India under their belt, having crushed them by 65 runs in a rain-shortened game. Their batting did well together after a sluggish start while their bowling brushed the Indian batting aside with figures to remember.

Sri Lanka, despite all their recent travails had a decent first game. They went down fighting to India after having posted a reasonable 233 but in the hindsight they should have got to at least 260. Their bowling made India struggle at the top of the innings but in the end, it did not have enough firepower to overcome the Indian side.
The buzz is that Australia may look to play Peter Forrest at the top of the innings, thus handing him his debut cap. If he plays, then it will be interesting to see who will sit out of the game for Australia. Dave Warner hasn’t had the best of times after that Perth century against India in the Tests and he could make way although Ricky Ponting is another candidate as well.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, seemed to have made a tactical error in playing five pace bowlers against India. Chances are bright that they will drop at least one of the pace bowlers and test the Australians with the spin of Rangana Herath. The rest of the side should remain the same for them.
Australia will be favourites to make it two wins in two games.
