Michigan State to fit offense to Chris Durkin

Durkin is about as big as Tim Tebow was going into his senior year, and is a major threat to run. His passing is a work in progress.

Chris Durkin is a top QB recruit out of Youngstown (OH) Ursuline High School. He is considered a three or four-star recruit, depending on the service. Durkin looks like a college linebacker at 6'4 and 230 pounds, and he's a true dual-threat passer.

I caught up with Durkin after his Elite 11 Chicago performance.

Durkin discussed his throwing motion and the depth of his drops. He also commented on what he did well during the event.

Additional questions for Durkin:

Are other teams respecting Durkin's commitment, or are they continuing to recruit him?

When does Durkin plan to visit Michigan State again?

Who is Durkin recruiting to join him at Michigan State?

What does Durkin really love about Michigan State? What gave him confidence that he will succeed at Michigan State.

How is Michigan State going to change its offense to fit Durkin's talents?

Will Durkin enroll in January at East Lansing? And what are his chances of playing early?
