Jerrod Heard dishes at the Elite 11 Finals

The Texas commit has been a pleasant surprise for head coach Trent Dilfer at the event.

BEAVERTON, Oregon -- Denton (Texas) quarterback Jerrod Heard has been working hard since the Dallas Elite 11 camp to improve various aspects of his game and has impressed head coach Trent Dilfer with his efforts.

On Sunday, Heard spoke with SB Nation Recruiting before heading off to get ready for the start of The Opening, which will feature the 7-on-7 competition that will determine the final Elite 11.
