Georgia Dome
The Atlanta Falcons' season is in a tailspin, but with four home games left on the schedule, the team can't be counted out just yet. A contest this weekend against the road-challenged Tampa Bay Buccaneers should also give the club a good chance at righting the ship.
Ralph Wilson Stadium
The 2009 season has descended into the abyss for the Buffalo Bills.
Paul Brown Stadium
Just when the Cincinnati Bengals were making believers out of doubters, they lay an egg against one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Bengals hope to inch closer to a division title and erase the horrid memories of last week's loss at Oakland by taking their frustrations out on the AFC North-rival Cleveland Browns this Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.
Reliant Stadium
Two missed field goals by Houston Texans kicker Kris Brown over his team's last two games have helped prevent the eighth-year franchise from taking a meaningful step forward in the playoff race.
Giants Stadium
It's only been 11 years. But for a certain New Jersey-based football team, they surely must seem like "Glory Days."
Lincoln Financial Field
The Philadelphia Eagles enter the final six weeks of this NFL season with their sights set on another postseason berth. The Washington Redskins, on the other hand, are simply trying to make it through the year in one piece.
Edward Jones Dome
No running back in the NFL has touched the football more this season than Steven Jackson. With his team beset by an injury at the quarterback position, the St. Louis Rams star figures to be in line for yet another extensive workload when the Seattle Seahawks pay a visit to the Edward Jones Dome this Sunday for a matchup between NFC West members.
Qualcomm Stadium
It's the AFC West, so something's gotta give.
Candlestick Park
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker asked Terrell Owens for his game-used jersey following last Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills. It was an honorable gesture by Sims-Walker, who hopes to one day be as dominant at this level as the enigmatic Owens has been for the past decade.
Mall of America Field at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome
The Chicago Bears lost what many felt was a must-win game for the club last weekend. Thanks to Brett Favre, the Minnesota Vikings haven't lost many games at all this year.
LP Field
Vince Young is enjoying a career renaissance, and his insertion as the Tennessee Titans' starting quarterback has given the team renewed hope in what looked to be a lost season.
M&T Bank Stadium
A Super Bowl berth was on the line the last time the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens renewed their bitter rivalry. While the stakes won't be quite as high when the two AFC North inhabitants square off this Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium, both teams still have plenty of incentive for this primetime showdown.
Superdome
The NFL's two best offenses figure to dazzle and delight fans at the Louisiana Superdome on Monday night, as the New Orleans Saints put their unbeaten record on the line against the New England Patriots in a possible Super Bowl preview.

A victory by Nashville over St. Louis tonight at the Sommet Center would match the Predators' longest win streak in franchise history. There is a good chance that could happen, given the club's recent home success over the Blues.

Fantasy Schedules: The Easy And The Tough
Heading into Week 12, trade deadlines are approaching in most leagues, the last chance to try and reset some of your roster. So which players have the easiest and the toughest schedules for the playoff weeks? ESPN does some rankings.
Plenty more rankings of players over at ESPN Fantasy.

Jay Cutler Regressing, Taking Devin Hester WIth Him
Chicago QB Jay Cutler has been maddening for fantasy owners. Some weeks he’s a TD machine, others he’s a TO machine, as in tunrover. Over the last five weeks though, Cutler has had only one good game, compared to four partial or complete duds. He, and the Bears offense, are clearly regressing. And owners of Devin Hester, plus the other Bears receiving targets, have to be very concerned. Cutler missed a wide-open Hester for a TD opportunity on Sunday, plus, Hester became the butt of many Internet jokes this week. (See that, I just made a joke out of that, if awful puns count as jokes.)
But Cutler’s recent play is no laughing matter for fantasy owners who have Bears on the roster. Cutler is but one of many disappointments listed in this FOX Sports article.

Lions Could Have T-Day Problems
It’s always good news, bad news, isn’t it? The Detroit Lions come off a thrilling, comeback win over the Browns, only to find out their two stars could be missing on Thanksgiving Day. Pride Of Detroit relays the message from coach Jim Schwartz that while Matt Stafford’s shoulder injury probably isn’t a long-term thing, it is sore enough that he could miss this Thursday’s game. Also, his tag-team partner, Calvin Johnson, could miss the action with his knee problems.

Fantasy Owners Find Bizarro World
Imagine you’re a fantasy owner that somehow got stuck with a few Lions or Browns players on your roster. You hardly ever play them, usually only for the bye weeks. Then you’re faced with the decision – do I play them now that these two bad football teams are playing each other. The answer was most definitely yes, and if you did, you’re the envy of the fantasy world in this weekend’s Bizarro World game.
Take a look at the leading scorers in a traditional ESPN league for Week 11.
QBs
1. Matthew Stafford – 32 points
2. Brady Quinn – 28 points
RBs
3. Kevin Smith – 20 points
WRs
2. Calvin Johnson – 22 points
7. Mohamed Massaquoi – 17 points
TEs
6. Brandon Pettigrew – 13 points
Ks
6. Phil Dawson – 10 points
That’s seven players from the two teams that ended up in the top-10 at their position for this week. It’s a fantasy bonanza and evidence of what can happen when two bad teams play each other.

More Week 11 Status For Fantasy Injuries And Benchings
We chronicled some of the players that will be missing this weekend (and Thursday night) previously, now we have a few more names to add to the list.
Julius Jones is out for this week, meaning Justin Forsett will be the man.
Broncos QB Kyle Orton has torn ligaments in his ankle according to a Colorado paper.
JaMarcus Russell has been benched in favor of Bruce Gradkowski.
Cedric Benson still isn’t practicing.
The Falcons haven’t officially ruled Michael Turner out for Week 11, and the media is clamoring for clarification, but signs point to him being absent. The good news in Atlanta is that Jerious Norwood returned to practice.
Clinton Portis is ‘very doubtful’ for the Dallas game, Ladell Betts will get the carries.

How Do You Solve A Problem Like LaDanian Tomlinson?
LaDainian Tomlinson has flummoxed fantasy owners in 2009. The early part of his season was spent on the bench with nagging injuries; after that, Tomlinson returned to action but failed to be productive. Until now. Sunday's performance was LDT's best of the season, and he has a few favorable matchups before the season is out. So what do you do? Yahoo!'s Brad Evans tackled the subject in-depth this week; whichever option you favor -- trading Tomlinson or riding out the storm -- you'll feel adequately prepared. And next time, you'll know not to draft the 31-year-old running back. (Yes, I'm an idiot. I know.)

Ronnie Brown Out For Season: Fantasy Impact
It's about to feel like 2003 all over again for Ricky Williams. With the news that Ronnie Brown has been placed on IR after suffering a foot injury, Williams should be the undisputed champion of the Dolphins' backfield. While Williams likely will split Wildcat snaps with option quarterback Pat White, his workload should increase out of conventional formations.
Given how well Williams has played to this point, and how few teams employ a single, featured back nowadays, it's certainly conceivable that Williams could be a top-ten back for the rest of the way. Make an offer for him before your league's deadline.
by Matt O'Brien • Nov 18, 2009 6:18 PM EST
Week 11 Early Inactives
We already know some players that will not be available for Week 11.
Ronnie Brown is definitely out for Thursday’s Dolphins game against the Panthers. [UPDATE]: Brown has been put on IR, his season is over.
A second concussion will sideline Brian Westbrook this week.
Obviously Dwayne Bowe is out due to his suspension.
Terrell Suggs is going to miss at least this week for the Ravens defense.
Although not technically an inactive, the Bills are going with Ryan Fitzpatrick over Trent Edwards at QB.
by Dave Halprin • Nov 18, 2009 4:08 PM EST
Exit Stage Left With A Bowe
You’ve probably seen the news already, but we thought it was our duty to post about it anyway. Dwayne Bowe has been suspended for four games over taking a banned substance. In this case, a weight-loss drug used during training camp.
It’s a tough break for Bowe owners as the WR was putting up respectable numbers. In the aftermath of the suspension, Arrowhead Pride wonders who will benefit the most on the Chiefs from Bowe’s absence. They opine that Chris Chambers and Lance Long are the two guys. Only Chambers appears to have fantasy value at this point, and he plays the position opposite Bowe. If nobody emerges in place of Bowe, Matt Cassel will probably end up targeting Chris Chambers a lot more.

Injured RBs: Tuesday Status
We had a rash of injuries on Sunday to top-line running backs. So who will be okay to go and who will be missing time? We take a look:
Michael Turner – We aren’t getting much clarity from the Falcons, who won’t put a timetable on Turner, but it appears likely that he will miss significant time. High ankle sprains can linger and are especially tough on running backs. Jason Snelling is an option and the Falcons hope to get back Jerious Norwood from hip injury that has kept him out a month. Turner should be considered inactive until further notice.
Cedric Benson – He hopes to play this week but just in case, the Bengals are grabbing another RB who was a free-agent.
Ronnie Brown – Things don’t look quite as good for Dolphin Ronnie Brown. Miami plays on a short-week and Brown not only has an ankle injury, but possibly a more significant foot injury. He should be considered inactive until further notice.
Brian Westbrook – A second concussion means the Eagles are going to be extra-careful with Westbrook. It’s possible he might play again this season, but it won’t likely be soon.
Julius Jones – A bruised chest led to internal bleeding and the running back had to stay overnight in a hospital. All reports are that he can recover pretty quickly, but he may have lost his job to Justin Forsett anyway.
