Matt Schaub injury update: Fantasy value holds with probable status

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Matt Schaub is listed as probable for Week 4 against the Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub (left shoulder, right elbow) is officially listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. Schaub lost part of his ear in a vicious hit from Broncos LB Joe Mays and had X-rays on his shoulder, but the tests came back clean and he got in a full week of practice. For the season, Schaub has completed 65% of his passes for 751 yards and five touchdowns.

Fantasy Impact: It's something of a miracle that Schaub is "probable" after the abuse he took last week. He's a stable QB2 play, with plenty of upside against a weak Titans secondary that ranks 30th in passing yards allowed. Schaub should be starting in all leagues this week.
