Vikings RB Adrian Peterson has 68 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries against the New England Patriots at halftime, while Brett Favre has only thrown two incompletions in 13 attempts. Favre has 121 yards as the Vikings hold a 7-7 tie with the Pats. Patriots WR Randy Moss has zero catches through his first half against his former team. In fact, he's yet to even be targeted.
Peterson has now scored at least one touchdown in five of seven games this year, and is on pace for his fourth 100-yard game. But the bigger story so far is Favre's non-weehaw game-management, especially in light of week-long injury concerns.
Though Favre hasn't found the end zone, he may wind up with his best game of the season if he continues to avoid throwing picks. He's thrown at least one interception in all but one game this year, and in that game he only managed 119 yards all day.
