NFL Week 4: Top Fantasy Football Running Backs Include Arian Foster, LaDainian Tomlinson

It was a decent week for fantasy football running backs. Week 4 didn't see any running back go over 200 yards but we saw a handful of running backs score from the ground and through the pass game.

Here are the top 5 running backs in Week 4:

  • Texans RB Arian Foster: 16 carries, 131 yards, 1 TD; 3 receptions, 56 yards, 1 TD
  • Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson: 19 carries, 133 yards, 2 TDs; 3 receptions, 22 yards.
  • Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew: 26 carries, 105 yards, 1 TD; 2 receptions, 16 yards, 1 TD
  • Colts RB Joseph Addai: 16 carries, 63 yards, 2 TDs; 3 receptions, 19 yards
  • Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall: 25 carries, 79 yards 2 TDs; 2 receptions, 9 yards

Using ESPN's fantasy football scoring, here are the top five scoring quarterbacks in Week 4:

  • Jaguars QB David Garrard: 17-of-22, 163 yards, two TDs, five carries for 44 yards, one TD
  • Lions QB Shaun Hill: 34-of-54, 331 yards, two TDs, two INTs, four carries for 53 yards
  • Colts QB Peyton Manning: 33-of-46, 352 yards, two TDs, one INT, one carry for -1 yards
  • Broncos QB Kyle Orton: 35-of-50, 341 yards, two TDs, one INT, three carries for 11 yards
  • Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick: 12-of-27, 128 yards, two TDs, seven carries for 74 yards

Bengals QB Carson Palmer also had a big day with 371 yards and a pair of scores but he's edged out by Fitzpatrick's rushing (and his own fumbles).
