Who to start in Week 11 of fantasy football? Check out our consensus player rankings at the six main positions
It's Thursday, so it's time for fantasy football player rankings. PlayThisGuy.com has given us their Top 10 players at QB, RB, WR, TE, K, and D/ST. They go around the Internet collecting data from fantasy football sites far and wide, and collate it into easily digestible tables for your viewing pleasure.
Last week at this time the experts had Michael Vick listed as the top quarterback. They should have stuck with that. As the week rolled on, the gurus gravitated towards the Brothers Manning, and Vick slipped to number five. 50-odd fantasy points later, it's safe to say Vick should have stayed at number one. This week, Vick comes in at number two, behind Philip Rivers. We'll see by Saturday if he has claimed the top spot, or will his game against a tough Giants defense keep him out of it.
At wide receiver, there are a couple of great battles going on. The Cowboys and the Lions game features a young established star, Calvin Johnson, against an up-and-comer, Dez Bryant. Johnson ranks as the number two play this week, while Dez is finally getting respect, coming in at number eight. The Giants and Eagles game features a young established star, DeSean Jackson, against an up-and-comer who is on the cusp of established star, Hakeem Nicks. Nicks is the number four receiver this week, while Jackson clocks in at number six.
