Checking in on the fantasy news of the day for Week 9

Where will Randy Moss end up? That's the fantasy question of the week. According to Yahoo! Sports, Moss officially hit the waiver wire on Tuesday and teams have until 4 PM EST today (Weds.) to put in a claim. Which teams will put in claims? SB Nation's Rams blog, Turf Show Times puts together a good argument about where Moss will land. The short version, they like the Rams, via Chris Mortenson.

According to Chris Mortenson (heard on Mike and Mike in the Morning), who is known for his fairly accurate intuition (and inside sources), the Rams are the #1 spot he'll most likely land.

CBSSports has a chart on likely landings for Moss, they like either San Diego or St. Louis. We'll all find out later today.

- Good news for owners of New England Patriots players on offense, guard Logan Mankins is returning to the team. This is great news for the Pats running game, Tom Brady and by extension the receivers. Pats Pulpit offers their opinion on his return.

- Packers receiver Donald Driver says he won't be able to go this weekend when Green Bay faces Dallas. Owners will need to look elsewhere for receiver help, which is too bad, because the Cowboys secondary has been getting torched recently.

- In Buffalo, C.J. Spiller's inability to hold on to the football might be hurting his chances of getting more carries. For now, Fred Jackson looks to be the man.
