Darrelle Revis Caginess Complicates Fantasy Status For Patriots Receivers

Deion Branch had quite the breakout game for the Patriots on Thanksgiving in Detroit, scoring two touchdowns and compiling 113 receiving yard in the victory.

That and the fact that Branch has three straight games of 70 receiving yards or more makes Branch a tempting regular start in fantasy. Except the Patriots face the Jets and Darrelle Revis this week. Despite his recent success, Branch is far from a legit no. 1 receiver and might be a waste for Revis to clamp down on the way he did with Randy Moss in the Patriots first meeting with the Jets this season.

Revis has also been known to move around targets during the game, so there's a chance he could be assigned to a variety of receivers, including Wes Welker, speedster Brandon Tate or even tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. So far, nothing definitive has been said. It's likely no one will know until next Monday night. Either way, it makes the prospect of starting any of those Patriots more than a little daunting.
