The top five projections for tight ends in Week 15.
Jason Witten (vs WAS) - Jason Witten has been very productive this year, and he's picking up the pace with his recent outings. He has three touchdowns in his last two games and is getting plenty of looks from Jon Kitna. Against Washington's defense, he should pay off for his owners.
Projection: 89 yds, 2 TD
Vernon Davis (@SD) - It's a tough matchup for Davis this week, the Chargers defense is no push-over. They do sometimes struggle against opposing tight ends though. Davis is a consistent producer, and he likes having quarterback Alex Smith back under center.
Projection: 114 yds, 1 TD
Jacob Tamme (vs. JAX) - Tamme has cooled in the past couple of weeks, but with Peyton Manning at the helm, he's got a chance to produce every week. This week, he gets a poor Jaguars secondary and should find paydirt.
Projection: 90 yards, 1 TD
Chris Cooley (@ DAL) - Dallas may have improved their overall play, but they're still giving up a lot of yards and touchdowns to opposing offenses. The Redskins are struggling right now, but they can depend on Cooley.
Projection: 81 yds, 1 TD
Tony Gonzalez (@ SEA) - Gonzalez got off to a slow start this year but has two touchdowns in the last three weeks. Seattle is a very generous pass defense, expect the Falcons to air it out more than usual and expect Gonzalez to score.
Projection: 75 yds, 1 TD
