If your fantasy team lineup is riddled with Minnesota Vikings, you have a couple late moves to make. Adrian Peterson is out with a thigh injury, meaning Toby Gerhart is likely to get a whole lot of carries. And Brett Favre will be starting instead of Joe Webb after a short pregame throwing session apparently convinced the Vikings to upgrade him from Questionable.
Gerhart is a highly competent backup. He's gotten multiple touches in every game this season except for in week one, with a rushing high of 76 yards and a receiving high of 67. Against the Chicago Bears in week ten, he went for 37 yards on six touches. He only has one touchdown this year, and scoring may be on the light side in this weather, but be glad you planned ahead and added Gerhart.
Favre is Favre, making each team a threat to score with every pass, but if he's still on your roster at this point you clearly like rolling with danger anyway. Unless you, for some reason, were starting Webb over Jay Cutler, giving the Gunslinger one more start is your only option. Vaya con Dios.
